If you’re interested in taking the PD894 ILA-SOE Alumni sponsored course, Literacy Empowerment Makes A Difference IX, you’ll need to complete the following forms, after you’ve paid your ILA membership:

Guam Treasures LLC donates 20 books to Guam ILA

In an ongoing effort to promote literacy on island, Guam Treasures LLC donated 20 copies of their latest book titled, “Neni, Nana and Tata at the Ranch in Guam” written by local author Dr. Anita Borja Enriquez and illustrated by local artist Cianna Yanger, to the Guam Council of the International Literacy Association on December 17, 2022, at the ILA Community Book Fair. The Neni Doll Collection is a trademark of Guam Treasures LLC, which represents innovative designs and stories inspired by local cultural memories and values and the unique heritage of the island of Guåhan and her people.

ILA Community Book Fair Snapshots - Dec. 17

The ILA Community Book Fair held December 17, 2022 at the Agana Shopping Center was meaningful!  Families joined in holiday fun with author Read Alouds from Dr. Anita Borja Enriquez, Femelyne Wesolowski, Nadine McDonald, Jacqueline Iris Quitugua, Catherine & John Payne; performances by Marcial Sablan Elementary School and CL Taitano Elementary School; and exciting raffles!  Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, keep reading, and enjoy the following snapshots!

*Please note that there is a conference fee to attend the LAC. ILA members pay a discounted fee. Be sure to mention that you are an ILA member in order to receive the discounted rate.
